DESCRIPTION

Deer sign galore on this property. The wooded area has a small hill along the edge and there was deer sign everywhere where the hug the edge and also where you can see them coming into the fields to feed every afternoon. It is a mix of hickory, oak, poplar, and thick nasty stuff. When we originally looked at this property a year in July, there was massive crop damage to the corn. We saw three deer when we posted the property (too far to identify) and a hen turkey sitting on a nest. It looks like the turkey hunting on this property would have been out of this world last spring. The wooded portion edges the field and is very long, which allows us to fit more people than normal on this property. It is perfect for setting up stands along the edges and shooting into the dirt. This property hunts much larger than the actual acreage and the only way to know that is to go walk it. The tillable portion has been planted in soybean which makes for easier access, and easier harvesting of the deer in the early fall seasons. This property is a NO RIFLE property and only the use of Archery/Shotgun/Muzzleloader equipment is permitted. Within a 5 mile radius of this property, we are managing approximately 960 acres in this no rifle program. No rifle areas have proven to help grow big buck and should help provide some great opportunities at large buck. The farmer encourages harvesting doe and we believe there are too many doe, so please harvest them if you lease this property. There are two staged parking areas for easy access to the hunting. This is an ideal tract for a hunting family or a group of hunters that are looking for a place to call their own. I have posted the boundaries with yellow posted signs to limit confusion and for easy inspection.

This lease will start June 1, 2018 and run through May 31, 2019. ATVs are permitted on this property to hang stands and retrieve game. If you would like to inspect the property, you will need a parking pass. Please just email us your first and last name, phone number, and the day you would like to inspect it and we will get you a pass to lay on the dash of your vehicle along with specific directions.
